Trading rules, explained clearly
Every rule that governs evaluation and funded accounts, in plain language.
Profit target
RuleThe amount your account balance must gain, from the starting balance, to pass the evaluation phase. Verification phases (where applicable) use a lower target.
Daily loss
RuleThe maximum your equity may drop within a single trading day, measured from that day's starting balance. Breaching it closes the account.
Max drawdown
RuleThe maximum your equity may fall from its highest recorded point since the account started. Static for evaluation accounts, trailing for some funded plans.
Minimum trading days
RuleThe minimum number of distinct calendar days on which you must open at least one trade before you're eligible to pass.
Consistency
RuleOn funded accounts, no single trading day may account for more than 30% of total profit at the time of a payout request.
News trading
RuleUnrestricted during evaluations. On funded accounts, opening new positions is restricted for 2 minutes before and after high-impact releases.
Weekend holding
RuleFutures accounts may not hold positions over the weekend. CFD accounts may hold positions over the weekend subject to standard swap fees.
Overnight holding
RulePermitted on all account types unless otherwise stated on the specific challenge page for a given instrument.
